Path to Nationals
For AISD archers to qualify for the national tournament, they must meet one of the following criteria. The criteria is subject to change at the district's discretion.
- Individual Archers: must place in the top 10 individually at the state tournament
- School Teams: in order to qualify a team, the team must:
- Win the state tournament or
- Post a minimum team score of 3350 or meet the national qualifying standards for Tier-1 placement (The greater of these two would be used). For example, if a team shoots 3360 at the state tournament and finishes 2nd and the minimum standards for Nationals' Tier-1 placement are state champs or 3375, this school would not be eligible for Nationals. However, if the Tier-1 qualifications were state champs and/or 3300, this team would be eligible.
